Adams Estate is a small, secluded residential enclave within the Bass Coast Shire, tucked into the remnant bushland just south of Grantville.

Originally an "inappropriate subdivision" from the mid-20th century where lots were often too small for septic systems, it has since evolved into a tightly held community where many residents have consolidated multiple blocks to create larger, bush-shrouded properties. The area is defined by its dense canopy of native trees - including Gippsland Manna Gums and Narrow-leaf Peppermints - and its direct adjacency to the Grantville Nature Conservation Reserve.

Unlike traditional suburbs, Adams Estate lacks paved footpaths and street lighting, maintaining a rugged, rural character that appeals to those seeking privacy and a connection to wildlife like koalas and lace monitors.

In recent years, the community has become a focal point for local environmental activism, with residents frequently advocating for the protection of the surrounding "Western Port Woodlands" against nearby sand mining expansion and land clearing.

While it offers a quiet, off-the-grid feel, it remains only a few minutes' drive from the shops and services in Grantville and the coastal views of Western Port Bay.
