Interstate buyers making an impact

As some readers may remember, it was only a few weeks ago that I mentioned in ONE OF OUR WEEKLY POSTS that we had multiple buyers from Sydney among the eight bidders that competed for the keys to a three-bedroom home in Grand Parade, Epping. This produced a fantastic result for our vendors.

This week, we worked with a family from Queensland who were keen to secure their home in Melbourne before the arrival of their third child. As a result of some competitive negotiations, these northerners were able to purchase the large family home in Centenary Drive, Mill Park (pictured) for a little under the $1 million mark.

With results like these, it is clear that the northern corridor of Melbourne is attracting the interest of buyers from an ever-increasing pool around our nation.

Of course, we are still seeing plenty of interest from buyers closer to home. In fact, during the week we were also able to assist a young couple from Melbourne to get their first foothold on the property ladder when we negotiated the sale of a three-bedroom home on a convenient corner block in Mackey Street, Lalor after a short but productive ‘off-market’ campaign.

The good news for anyone planning on selling before the end of 2025 is that our team also negotiated several other outstanding sales results this week in areas like Reservoir and South Morang, but we’ll provide further details once all the paperwork has been finalised.

The only downside of the current strong market conditions is that nothing lasts forever. So if you’re keen to make a move before people start getting distracted by Christmas and the holiday season, you really need to start the process soon.
