Strong Buyer Turnout Highlights a Positive Shift in the Market
This week we’ve seen a noticeable increase in buyer numbers across our open for inspections, particularly for quality family homes offering four to five bedrooms, multiple living zones, and outdoor entertaining spaces like rumpus rooms and alfresco areas.
There has also been a welcome boost in activity from first-home buyers, especially in unit and apartment sales. This seems to be driven by improved affordability and reduced interest rates, giving many the confidence to secure their first property.
Another trend emerging is increased enquiry in the acreage and lifestyle sector, with several buyers calling specifically for homes with pools and tennis courts in Donvale, Park Orchards, Templestowe, and Warrandyte. These buyers are clearly upsizing and seeking lifestyle-driven properties.
While there’s plenty of speculation about global economic movements, our local market remains incredibly active. Despite the Easter and school holidays, we’re seeing committed buyers who are moving forward with their plans — reinforcing that real estate is driven by life decisions, not just the calendar.
