Auctions continued to sell and sell very well. Many pushed well past expectation with buyers keen to jump into the property market before the double-digit growth that many economists are predicting. Open house attendances remained strong even with many still away escaping Melbourne’s cold spell during the school holidays.

Barry Plant sales this week include a penthouse apartment selling well north of $2,000,000 and lifestyle homes also breaking past the $2 million range, one even topping $5,000,000!

With expectations of an early spring on the back of a May RBA decision likely, it may be wise for would be sellers to get in ahead of the rush.
