Barry Plant continues sales momentum: Rates on Hold but the Market is Not!!

With The RBA deciding to put interest rates on hold last Tuesday despite widespread predictions of a cut; many felt the real estate market might also go into a holding pattern. Well, someone forgot to tell the buyers keen to snap up a property in the Barry Plant Eastern Group’s homeland of Manningham.

Auctions continued to sell and sell very well. Many pushed well past expectation with buyers keen to jump into the property market before the double-digit growth that many economists are predicting. First home buyers, downsizers, upsizers, developers and investors alike, sized each other up as they went into battle for their chosen home.

Open house attendances remained strong even with many still away escaping Melbourne’s cold spell during the school holidays.

Barry Plant sales this week include a penthouse apartment selling well north of $2,000,000 and lifestyle homes also breaking past the $2 million range, one even topping $5,000,000!

With expectations of an early spring on the back of a May RBA decision likely, it may be wise for would be sellers to get in ahead of the rush.
