Barry Plant’s bold rebrand continues to make waves on the global stage, taking out Silver at the prestigious WORLD Design Awards 2025.

This latest accolade follows success at the 2024 Melbourne Design Awards, where the rebrand also earned Silver in the Graphic Design – Identity and Branding – Corporate category. It caps off a standout year of recognition, highlighted by Barry Plant being named Major Network of the Year at the 2025 REB Awards.

The real estate group's striking transformation marked a significant departure from its traditional navy and red palette, embracing vibrant cobalt and watermelon hues. This modern aesthetic was complemented by a sleek new insignia, symbolising an open door – an emblem of the brand’s core values of warmth, personal care, and a welcoming culture.

Celebrating innovation in visual communication, the WORLD Design Awards recognise exceptional branding efforts worldwide. Barry Plant’s Silver win underscores its dedication to engaging audiences and delivering a compelling brand identity, not only within Australia but on an international scale. This achievement highlights the company’s ability to align its brand vision with client needs while maintaining a strong competitive edge in the industry.

Barry Plant CEO Lisa Pennell expressed the group’s gratitude for the global recognition, emphasising the collective effort behind the rebrand.

“Rebranding the entire Barry Plant group was a monumental task, expertly led by our talented internal marketing team. Winning Silver at the Melbourne Design Awards was a huge honour, and to now receive Silver at the WORLD Design Awards is beyond our expectations. It’s a testament to the hard work and dedication of the team,” Pennell said.

Marketing Project Manager Kashka Hardy acknowledged the collaborative effort that brought the brand refresh to life.

“The rebrand was a team-driven project. The initial logo, colour palette, and concepts were crafted by the incredible team at Watts Design, who executed our vision flawlessly. From there, our internal Marketing Team worked tirelessly to implement the new branding across all marketing collateral – from property marketing templates to campaign artwork and office assets. Seeing our hard work recognised on a global stage is truly humbling,” said Hardy.

Undertaking a complete brand overhaul in just three months was no small feat. A seamless rollout was essential to support Barry Plant’s extensive network of offices and agents. To ensure a smooth transition, Barry Plant bolstered their internal marketing and design team to take full control of all design requirements and requests for the network.

“The Barry Plant network was incredibly supportive of the new branding, and our priority was to provide the marketing support needed to help them embrace the changes effortlessly,” Hardy explained.

Barry Plant’s Head of Marketing, Monika Kamienowska, reinforced that this recognition reflects Barry Plant’s bold approach to branding and innovation.

“The refresh was modern, courageous, and a complete departure from the sea of navy that dominates the Melbourne property market. Barry Plant has always led the way in real estate marketing, and this marks yet another milestone in our journey as an industry trailblazer.”

With its WORLD Design Awards 2025 recognition, Barry Plant’s branding excellence is now acknowledged on an even greater scale, further cementing its reputation as a leader in corporate branding.

This milestone reaffirms Barry Plant’s ability to blend strategic innovation with design excellence, positioning the brand as a true pioneer in the real estate industry. As the company continues to evolve, this latest achievement serves as a testament to its unwavering commitment to creativity, excellence, and client-focused service.
